About Me:

I’m Maharesh Harrisan, a 19-year-old diploma student in electrical and electronic engineering at Polytechnic. My passion for farming began during my school days when I studied agricultural sciences. I’ve since participated in the Polygreen program, learning hydroponic farming from A to Z under the guidance of Mr. Naviin from Sayur Kita Asia.

Project Description:

I aim to establish a hydroponic farming business, combining modern technology with sustainable agriculture. This project will allow me to scale up from my current small-scale operations to a full-fledged business, proving that farming can be both profitable and innovative.

Funds Utilization:

The raised funds will be used to:

  1. Purchase equipment for the hydroponic system
  2. Buy seeds, peat moss, net pots, and fertilizers
  3. Set up the initial planting and growth cycle
  4. Develop marketing strategies to reach potential customers

Why This Matters:

This project is more than just a business venture. It’s about breaking barriers and changing perceptions. I want to prove that a hobby can evolve into a successful business and that farming can be a lucrative and respectable profession. By supporting this campaign, you’re not just funding a farm; you’re investing in a vision of sustainable, technology-driven agriculture and locally farmed quality produce for people in Mersing Johor.
